Substation Electrical Managers (Data Centre Construction) - PMC - JB

Key Responsibilities

A Substation Senior Electrical Manager for data centre construction leads the high-voltage power supply, grid connection, and on-site substation infrastructure. Key duties include managing high-voltage (HV/EHV) design, coordinating utility grid integration, and overseeing site installation and safety compliance.

Core Responsibilities

• Grid Integration: Manage high-voltage and extra-high-voltage (HV/EHV) power connections with local utility providers.
• Design & Engineering: Oversee layout and technical specifications for transformers, switchgears, and protection systems.
• Project Delivery: Monitor project schedules, budgets, and contractor performance from construction to final testing.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations meet local grid codes and international mission-critical safety standards.

Preferences

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Technical Skills: Deep expertise in high-voltage substations, power distribution, and mission-critical backup systems.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
