WE ARE HIRING – CHARGEMAN A4

Position: Chargeman A4 (Hostel Provided)
Location: Simpang Pulai, Kinta Highlands, Ipoh, Perak
Salary: RM5,500 – RM6,500/month
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Company:

Agroto Business (M) Sdn. Bhd. operates a 120-acre greenhouse farming facility specializing in modern agricultural practices and controlled-environment farming. The company focuses on efficient farm operations through advanced infrastructure and sustainable agricultural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate, maintain and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical systems, including main switchboards, distribution boards and control panels

- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on generator sets, synchronizing panels and farm electrical infrastructure

- Oversee inspection and maintenance of aerial lines and underground cables

- Ensure reliable electrical supply to critical farm systems, including:

• Greenhouse ventilation & cooling systems
• Fertigation pumps
• Lighting automation systems
• Cold storage units
• Reefer containers

- Liaise with TNB and contractors regarding load demand management, outages, upgrades and inspections

- Conduct regular electrical inspections and testing

- Coordinate and supervise contractors and technicians while ensuring safety procedures are followed

- Maintain maintenance records, logbooks and technical reports as required by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST)

- Ensure all electrical work complies with OSHA, ST and TNB requirements

Requirements:

- Valid Chargeman A4 Certificate of Competency (PJ4) issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST)

- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience

- Experience handling:

• Low-voltage electrical systems
• Generator sets with synchronizing panels
• Aerial lines

- Basic computer skills for reporting and record keeping

- Experience working in outdoor environments, farms or remote facilities is an advantage

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- Willing to work in Simpang Pulai, Kinta Highlands, Ipoh
