Job Summary

Supervise and coordinate daily outlet or market stall operations to ensure efficient workflow, staff performance, stock management, and customer satisfaction while supporting management in policy implementation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the outlet or market stall to maintain smooth and efficient workflow
• Monitor staff attendance, work performance, and discipline to ensure operational standards
• Assign duties and create work schedules aligned with operational needs to optimize team productivity
• Train and guide staff on work procedures, customer service, and company policies to enhance service quality
• Ensure products are properly displayed, labelled, and maintained in good condition to attract customers
• Monitor stock levels and assist with stock ordering and inventory control to prevent shortages
• Check incoming goods for correct quantity and quality to maintain inventory accuracy
• Maintain outlet cleanliness, organization, and compliance with hygiene and safety requirements
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally to uphold customer satisfaction
• Monitor daily sales and assist in achieving sales targets through effective team coordination
• Ensure proper cash handling and maintain accurate daily sales records for financial integrity
• Report operational issues, stock shortages, and staff matters promptly to the Manager
• Assist the Manager in implementing company policies and procedures to support operational consistency
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager to contribute to overall business success

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Relevant experience in retail, market, supermarket, food, or fresh produce operations
• Strong communication and leadership skills demonstrated through supervising and motivating a team
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
