The Opportunity

Skills Union is an integrated workforce solutions company headquartered in Singapore, working with universities, government agencies and enterprise employers across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Our training and technology lines are established and generating significant revenue, with anchor partners including leading universities, large-scale employers and national skills agencies in Singapore, SEA and the Gulf.

You role is to build B2B our partnerships for recruitment, placement and training, working closely with our operations and product teams. You will help to stand up and run a contingent recruitment and training desk as the near-term revenue engine while the wider partnership base grows. This is a hands-on commercial role with real ownership of a P&L from day one, backed by an employer network and candidate pipeline most people in this market spend years building.

Who You Are

• Commercially proven. You have grown B2B accounts or run a recruitment desk, ideally in technology, data, or digital roles in Singapore, and can walk us through specific wins.
• Networked. You bring live relationships with Singapore and APAC hiring managers, or a track record building them fast.
• Comfortable owning outcomes. You are motivated by a direct line between what you build and what you earn, and are comfortable being measured on revenue.
• A generalist by necessity. You can move between account development, deal-closing, and process design without needing a large team around you.
• CEI certification or familiarity with MOM Employment Agency licensing is a plus, not a requirement.

• Warm employer relationships. Our employer ecosystem spans enterprise training clients, SMB programme participants, and an industry network of hiring managers we convene regularly.
• Candidate supply. Our training programmes produce a continuous pipeline of skills-verified professionals in AI, data, and digital roles, including graduates of our NTU-delivered programmes and career-conversion cohorts.
• A platform behind you. Our product team is building CareersMatch, a two-sided talent platform. You will be its first commercial user and a direct voice into its roadmap.
• Institutional credibility. An ISO-certified company with university anchors and a government programme track record. Your first client conversation starts warm, not cold.

Your First 90 Days

• Convert a defined set of existing Skills Union employer relationships into active recruitment or partnership discussions.
• Stand up the contingent recruitment desk and close your first placements, focused on technology, data, and digital roles with Singapore employers.
• Establish the commercial basics the desk will run on: fee structure, terms of business, candidate experience.

From there, the role grows into building the wider partnership base for CareersMatch and, as volume proves out, the first hires in the division.

Compensation

A strong base plus uncapped commission on billings and partnership revenue. We will shape the final structure around the right candidate's track record.
