Job Scope – Accountant

• Handle a full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial reporting.

• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents.

• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and the company secretary.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

• Monitor and account for the company’s investment portfolio, including shares and other financial instruments.

• Track investment income, dividends, capital gains or losses, and portfolio valuations.

• Provide financial oversight and control over the holding company’s subsidiaries companies.

• Review and monitor the subsidiaries companies’ financial performance, budgets, cash flow, internal controls, and reporting.

• Assist management with financial and investment-related reports.

• Perform other finance and administrative duties as assigned.

• Travel frequently for business-related matters when required.

Experience in stock market investments and proficiency in Xero accounting software will be an advantage, as the company is principally engaged in investment holding activities. Candidates must be willing and able to travel frequently.
