Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Software Engineer role based in Singapore. The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support industrial automation, process control, and facility management systems, with a focus on reliability and scalability. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing back-end services and APIs, integrating software with hardware and IoT/IIoT platforms, and optimizing system performance for real-time industrial environments. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, participating in solution architecture and code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation and standards. The Senior Software Engineer will also mentor junior engineers, support project delivery timelines, and help drive best practices in software development within the organization.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in modern languages commonly used in back-end and industrial systems.
• Hands-on Back-End Web Development skills, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and their application to large-scale, maintainable codebases.
• Experience with industrial automation, process control, or IoT/IIoT integration is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with cloud or edge computing platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (e.g., Git).
• Ability to work on-site in Singapore and collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safe, sustainable, and high-quality engineering practices.
