Responsibilities:

Looking for candidates interested to do PhD either part-time or full-time, based in UTP (Seri Iskandar, Perak, Malaysia). Students are open/invited to propose any research titles in areas related to either energy or fluid engineering or thermal engineering (including flow-induced vibration, fluid-structure interaction, biomechanics engineering etc.)

The Graduate Student will be involved in conducting in-depth research, preparing reports/thesis and scholarly publications. Responsibilities also include assisting faculty with academic activities (tutorials, laboratory etc.)

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree (min. CGPA 3.25/4.0) in engineering (area in mechanical/energy/marine/fluid engineering would be an advantage); and
2. Master's degree (min. CGPA 3.25/4.0 or a pass if Masters was by research) in engineering (area in mechanical/energy/marine/fluid engineering would be an advantage).

Benefits:

If successful, for full-time PhD students - RM3000/month allowance + tuition fees covered by UTP.
