Responsibilities
Design and develop software for automated equipment
Maintain, review and improve legacy codes
Troubleshoot issues with existing installed systems
Write user manuals to describe the functionality of the developed programs
Liaise with the customer on requirements and create specifications based on these requirements.
Requirements
Degree/diploma in Electrical/Electronic engineering/Computer science or related discipline
At least 2 years of relevant experience in the automation industry
Proficient in PC based programming (e.g. Visual C#)
Familiar with PLC programming (e.g. Omron/Beckhoff)
Familiar with various Motion Controllers/Actuators (e.g. IAI, AD Link)
Familiar with vision systems (e.g. Cognex)
Willing to learn and adapt a new technology quickly
Ability to work independently
Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer site
