Develop and maintain production plans and schedules based on demand, capacity and manufacturing requirements.
Monitor production progress and identify potential delays, capacity constraints or material shortages.
Coordinate with Production, Materials, Warehouse, Procurement and Engineering teams to ensure production plans are achievable.
Review material availability and ensure required components/materials are available according to the production schedule.
Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP), inventory levels and production orders.
Create, update and monitor production orders, planning parameters and related ERP/MRP transactions.
Follow up on material shortages, purchase orders and supply issues that may impact production.
Adjust production schedules when there are changes in demand, material availability, equipment capacity or production priorities.
Support daily/weekly production planning meetings and provide updates on production status and potential risks.
Analyse production and inventory data to identify gaps, trends and opportunities for process improvement.
Maintain accurate planning records and provide regular reports to relevant stakeholders.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve planning and production issues.
Ensure planning activities comply with company procedures, quality requirements and safety standards.
Perform other duties and projects assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related discipline.
1–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing planning, production planning, material planning, supply chain or operations is preferred.
Candidates with relevant internship or manufacturing experience may also be considered.
Experience in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
Good knowledge of production planning, inventory management, material requirements planning (MRP) and supply chain processes.
Good command of Microsoft Excel and ability to work with data and reports.
Strong analytical, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
