SCOPE OVERVIEW

• In charge for Life Insurance policy servicing transactions, including managing a team of staff.
• Monitor operational performance and ensure key performance metrics are met in all areas.
• Handle and resolve complaints from customers on policy servicing transactions.
• Provide critical liaison and build strong business relationship with distribution channels
• Ensure compliance with procedures and standards required by the organisation, regulatory, compliance or law
• Compilation of statistics and management reporting
• Maintain and update changes on standard operating procedure
• Drive operational process review and automation to improve operational efficiency and achieve great customer outcomes
• Represent policy servicing in discussions with internal and external parties in relation to all policy servicing matters and product launches
• Provide user requirements on policy servicing functions, review BRS and work closely with key stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of product launches and/or system enhancements.
• Support any ad hoc departmental projects

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Tertiary Education or Insurance Professional Qualifications
• Any Life Insurance certifications will be an added advantage
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience in Insurance Life Operations, with preference within the policy servicing function, including leading/managing a team.
• In-depth understanding of Life Insurance processes and products, including the applicable regulations
• Experience in driving and implementing process improvements and automations
• Good communication in English, both oral and writing
