[Appointment period: seven months]

Duties

The appointee will assist the project leader in the research project – “Designing AI for design: An exploratory study of the teaching infrastructures and pedagogical models with AI in future design education”.  He/She will be required to:

(a)    review and summarise literature;

(b)    assist in developing the Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) design platforms with tasks such as coordination of content, design and maintenance;

(c)    assist in formulating experiment design and methods of data collection and analysis;

(d)    assist in research paper writing; and

(e)    perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a)    a PhD degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interactive Computing, Design Education or a related discipline; or a master’s degree in one of the said disciplines, with four or more years of full-time research experience;

(b)    substantial research experience in design process, HCI and user experiences;

(c)    research interest or experience in AI-supported design process;

(d)    excellent English communication skills especially in reading and writing; and

(e)    the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
