As we continue to scale our operations, we are seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to join our executive team as the PMC & Purchasing Director.

About the role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the PMC & Purchasing Director will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain ecosystem, including Production Material Control (PMC) and Procurement functions, across Hong Kong headquarters and mainland manufacturing bases. This pivotal role ensures the seamless flow of materials, optimizes inventory turnover, and drives cost-effective sourcing strategies to support manufacturing excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive PMC and procurement strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives and expansion plans

• Oversee end-to-end production planning, material requirement planning (MRP), and inventory management for both the Dongguan and Jiangxi facilities, ensuring operational synergy between the two sites

• Lead the procurement function, including global and local supplier sourcing, evaluation, price negotiation, and contract management

• Work closely with the R&D and Engineering departments to ensure accurate material specifications for new automation equipment projects and timely mass production ramp-ups

• Implement, monitor, and optimize ERP/MRP systems to enhance supply chain visibility, data accuracy, and operational efficiency

• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including material shortages and logistics delays, to ensure business continuity

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of PMC and purchasing professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline

• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in PMC and purchasing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the automation equipment or precision manufacturing industry

• Proven track record of managing multi-plant supply chain operations

• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, inventory control methodologies, and strategic sourcing

• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and crisis-management skills with a data-driven mindset

• Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin

• Stationed in Dongguan, occasional travel is needed
