岗位职责

1. Account Management & Portfolio Servicing

- Take over and manage an assigned portfolio of General Insurance accounts, including accounts transitioned from Producers.
- Act as the day-to-day servicing contact for assigned clients and ensure timely and professional handling of their insurance requirements.
- Maintain complete and accurate client and policy records in the broking system.
- Monitor outstanding matters, documentation, renewals, endorsements and other account servicing requirements.
- Develop a good understanding of clients' businesses, risk exposures and insurance requirements.

2. Renewal Management

- Manage the full renewal cycle from initial review through to placement and policy issuance.
- Review existing policies, claims experience, coverage, limits, deductibles and renewal terms.
- Obtain updated risk information and renewal requirements from clients.
- Prepare renewal submissions and approach appropriate insurers based on market appetite and client requirements.
- Obtain, analyse and compare quotations and terms from insurers.
- Negotiate premiums, coverage, deductibles, warranties and other policy terms with insurers.
- Prepare renewal recommendations and present suitable options to clients.
- Follow through to obtain client instructions, bind coverage and ensure timely issuance of policy documentation.

3. New Business & Placement

- Support and manage new business opportunities from initial enquiry through to placement.
- Understand the client's business and identify relevant insurance requirements and coverage considerations.
- Prepare professional submissions and marketing information for insurers.
- Identify and approach suitable insurance markets.
- Engage insurers to obtain competitive quotations and negotiate coverage and pricing.
- Analyse and compare quotations, policy terms, exclusions and conditions.
- Prepare recommendations for clients and assist with placement negotiations.
- Follow through from quotation to binding, documentation and policy issuance.

4. Market & Insurer Engagement

- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with insurers and underwriters.
- Meet insurers and underwriting teams to understand market appetite, products, underwriting considerations and pricing trends.
- Attend market meetings and discussions on behalf of the GI team.
- Negotiate terms with insurers to achieve appropriate coverage and competitive outcomes for clients.
- Keep abreast of changes in insurer appetite, products, underwriting guidelines and market conditions.

5. Client Engagement

- Attend client meetings when required, including meetings with corporate clients.
- Support client discussions, presentations and renewal reviews.
- Explain insurance options, coverage differences, policy terms and recommendations clearly and professionally.
- Understand client concerns and translate their requirements into appropriate insurance solutions.
- Maintain strong and professional client relationships.

6. Claims Servicing

- Assist clients with notification and submission of claims to insurers.
- Coordinate claims documentation and follow up with insurers and relevant parties.
- Monitor outstanding claims and provide timely updates to clients.
- Liaise with insurers/claims teams on claims progress and outstanding requirements.
- Escalate complex or sensitive claims matters appropriately.

7. Policy Administration & Billing Coordination

- Ensure policies, endorsements, certificates and other documentation are issued accurately and on time.
- Coordinate policy amendments and endorsements with insurers.
- Follow up on outstanding documentation and premium-related matters.
- Liaise with internal Finance/Operations teams on billing and collection matters where required.

8. Compliance & Broking System Requirements

- Maintain accurate and complete client, policy and transaction information in the broking system.
- Ensure required documentation and client information are maintained for compliance and audit purposes.
- Follow the firm's procedures for client onboarding, AML/KYC, renewals, documentation and record keeping.
- Ensure all activities are conducted within the firm's approved authority and regulatory requirements.

9. Portfolio Development & Cross-Selling

- Identify opportunities to deepen existing client relationships and introduce relevant insurance solutions.
- Support new business development through referrals, existing client relationships and market opportunities.
- Work with the GI team to identify potential cross-selling opportunities across relevant General Insurance lines.

10. General Expectations

- Manage assigned accounts with increasing independence and ownership.
- Prioritise work effectively, particularly around renewal deadlines and client-critical matters.
- Maintain accurate trackers and follow through on outstanding tasks without excessive supervision.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, commercial awareness and professional judgement.
- Work collaboratively with the GI team while taking individual accountability for assigned accounts.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of GI broking processes and service standards.

11. Reporting, Collaboration & General Expectations- Work closely with the Broking Manager on day-to-day GI operations, account management, placement strategy and overall broking activities.
- Support and align with the Broking Manager on renewal priorities, market approach, insurer negotiations, client servicing and new business opportunities.
- Keep the Broking Manager informed of significant account developments, market feedback, client issues, claims matters and any matters requiring escalation.
- Seek guidance from the Broking Manager on complex placements, unusual risks, significant negotiations and matters requiring management input, while progressively taking ownership of assigned accounts.
- Follow the GI team's operational procedures, compliance requirements, reporting standards and agreed workflows.
- Maintain clear communication and proper handover of outstanding matters to ensure continuity of service.
- Take individual accountability for assigned tasks, deadlines and client deliverables.
- Manage assigned accounts with increasing independence while operating within the authority and direction of the Broking Manager.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of GI broking processes, service standards and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate professionalism, collaboration, accountability and a willingness to support the broader GI team's objectives.- Work collaboratively with the GI team while taking individual accountability for assigned accounts and responsibilities- Support the broader GI team's business objectives, including portfolio development and new business opportunities

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
