Job Overview

The Assistant Administrative Manager will work closely with the Administrative Manager to support daily back-office tasks, staff coordination, and general operations. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a management role within the F&B industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily administrative tasks, including scheduling, attendance tracking, and basic payroll support
• Help coordinate with suppliers for ordering ingredients and restaurant supplies
• Support inventory checks and stock record-keeping
• Assist with processing invoices, receipts, and simple bookkeeping entries
• Support onboarding of new staff and maintaining employee records
• Help ensure the restaurant complies with licensing, food safety, and workplace regulations
• Act as a point of contact between kitchen, floor staff, and management when the Administrative Manager is unavailable
• Assist with handling customer inquiries, reservations, or feedback
• Prepare simple reports and summaries as needed (sales, expenses, attendance)
• Take on additional administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• Some experience in an administrative, customer service, or operations role (F&B experience is a plus but not required)
• Organized, reliable, and able to multitask
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
• Good communication skills; bilingual in English and Mandarin/Teochew is an advantage
• Willingness to work on-site, including occasional weekends or peak hours
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
