Full Stack Engineer (AI)

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented and hands-on Full Stack Engineer (AI) to design, build, and maintain scalable software systems and AI-powered product experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong experience across modern full stack development, with a solid understanding of building reliable AI workflows, testing systems, and production-grade applications.

This role requires a balance of software engineering excellence, AI system design, quality engineering, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in designing and building scalable, reliable, and maintainable software systems.
• Strong proficiency in modern web development technologies such as React.js, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Deep understanding of browser architecture and frontend performance considerations.
• Experience building LLM-powered workflows, including:
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Tool calling
• Structured outputs
• Agent-based workflows
• Human-in-the-loop patterns
• Experience creating evaluation pipelines using:
• Golden datasets
• Regression tests
• Deterministic evaluators
• LLM-as-a-judge approaches
• Ability to implement observability, monitoring, guardrails, fallbacks, and validation for dependable AI systems.
• Strong judgment in balancing model quality, latency, reliability, maintainability, and cost.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure concepts.
• Solid understanding of agile engineering practices and software delivery workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze complex system behavior, logs, and root causes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical trade-offs, risks, and quality standards to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop full stack applications with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Build and integrate AI/LLM features into production systems.
• Develop robust RAG and agent-based workflows to support intelligent product experiences.
• Create and maintain evaluation frameworks to measure AI system quality and stability.
• Implement monitoring, guardrails, and fallback mechanisms to ensure safe and reliable AI behavior.
• Write clean, testable code and contribute to automated testing and CI/CD improvements.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Debug production and development issues efficiently and provide root cause analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge sharing across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience shipping AI-driven products in production environments.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, containers, and modern deployment practices.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, model selection, and AI system evaluation.
• Experience working in cross-functional, agile teams.
