Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled BIM Engineer – CAD Expert to join our team in Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing BIM models, producing high-quality CAD drawings, and supporting multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects.

Applicants must be willing to work full onsite at the assigned office/project location in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain BIM models and CAD drawings for engineering and construction projects.
• Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using industry-standard software.
• Coordinate BIM activities with architects, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Conduct clash detection and model reviews to identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Ensure all BIM models and drawings comply with project standards, specifications, and BIM execution plans.
• Produce construction drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Maintain model integrity, data accuracy, and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide technical support and guidance related to BIM and CAD processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in BIM engineering, BIM coordination, or CAD drafting within the engineering, construction, or infrastructure industry.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong knowledge of BIM workflows, standards, and project coordination processes.
• Experience with Navisworks, BIM 360, Civil 3D, or other BIM software is an advantage.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be willing to work full onsite in Malaysia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale building, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with international BIM standards and best practices.
• Experience in multidisciplinary design coordination.
