Accounts Executive

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM
5-Day Work Week

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive to support our day-to-day accounting operations. The role covers both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, as well as general accounting and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & General Accounting

Manage day-to-day Accounts Payable transactions and ensure timely processing of payments.
Perform bank reconciliations and assist with quarterly GST submissions.
Support month-end closing activities and ensure accounting records are properly maintained.
Assist in maintaining and updating subsidiary accounts and accounting schedules.
Prepare relevant documents and provide support during year-end audits.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of accounting records.

Accounts Receivable

Record and reconcile daily collections against outstanding invoices.
Follow up on payment status and assist with accounts receivable reconciliation.
Support Relationship Managers with credit card transactions and wholesale sales collections.
Set up and maintain new COD and trade accounts.
Prepare CTC invoices and handle related customer account matters.
Assist customers and internal teams with billing, payment and account-related enquiries.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or general accounting is preferred.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
Meticulous, organised and able to work independently.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
