Job Summary

You will transport materials and equipment to construction sites, operate and maintain delivery vehicles safely, and ensure accurate delivery documentation.

Responsibilities

Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from construction sites to support project timelines

Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, complying with traffic laws and safety regulations

Inspect vehicles regularly to identify and address maintenance needs for safe operation

Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks to ensure reliability

Complete delivery paperwork accurately and maintain detailed delivery logs for record-keeping

Communicate clearly with team members and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues

Lift and carry heavy materials and equipment safely to facilitate loading and unloading

Required competencies and certifications

Hold a valid driver's license to operate delivery vehicles legally

Maintain a clean driving record to ensure safe driving standards

Demonstrate experience driving delivery trucks or similar commercial vehicles to handle job demands

Understand and apply traffic laws and safety regulations to maintain compliance and safety

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Apply basic math skills to manage delivery documentation and record-keeping accurately

Use interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and site staff
