Designing and developing new products, systems, and processes.
Conducting research and testing to improve existing products and processes.
Analysing data and performing calculations to ensure the feasibility of designs.
Working with other engineers and professionals to ensure projects are completed on time.
Creating technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing and construction teams.
Identifying and fixing technical problems in developing and launching new products and systems.
Staying informed with advancements in technology and industry standards.
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Design and Planning: Create detailed blueprints, technical drawings, mathematical models, or computer simulations.
Testing and Quality Control: Run experiments and performance tests to ensure systems work safely and efficiently under real-world conditions.
Project Management: Estimate costs, set budgets, and manage project timelines to keep work on track.
Compliance: Follow industry safety codes, environmental guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
Documentation: Write technical reports, operating manuals, and design specifications.
