Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Johor Baharu, responsible for supporting daily restaurant operations and team performance. This role oversees shift management, ensures consistent food quality and service standards, and helps maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies. The Assistant Manager supports staff scheduling, training, and coaching to achieve operational and sales targets, while fostering a positive work environment. The role also involves handling guest feedback, monitoring inventory and stock levels, and working closely with the Restaurant Manager to implement promotional activities and process improvements.
Qualifications

• Operational management skills, including experience overseeing daily restaurant or retail operations and coordinating shifts.
• Team leadership and people management abilities, with experience in supervising, coaching, and motivating frontline staff.
• Customer service skills, with a strong focus on creating positive guest experiences and managing feedback professionally.
• Basic business and administrative skills, such as handling cash, monitoring sales performance, and managing inventory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to respond calmly and efficiently to operational challenges.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required in QSR operations.
• Previous experience in F&B, hospitality, or retail supervision is preferred; diploma or degree in hospitality, business, or related field is an advantage.
