REQUIREMENTS:
Technical Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, SIEM, SOC, EDR or infrastructure security implementation.
- Strong hands-on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Wazuh, Microsoft, Elastic, or equivalent.
- Experience deploying and managing EDR/XDR platforms such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft, SentinelOne, or similar technologies.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration.
- Experience managing Linux environments such as RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, or Debian.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including routing, firewall policies, VPN, DNS, proxy, VLAN, and packet troubleshooting.
- Experience troubleshooting complex deployment and integration issues across infrastructure and security platforms.
- Familiarity with log ingestion methods, Syslog, APIs, WinEventLog, NetFlow, JSON, and custom parsers.
- Experience in deployment planning, infrastructure sizing, architecture design, and project implementation.
- Basic scripting or automation knowledge using Bash, PowerShell, or Python is an advantage.
- Experience with virtualization and cloud platforms is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting capacity for cybersecurity/SIEM/EDR solutions is highly advantageous.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the deployment, implementation, and integration of SIEM, EDR, and cybersecurity platforms.
- Plan and manage project implementation activities, timelines, technical scope, and deployment strategies.
- Serve as the technical lead during cybersecurity project delivery and customer onboarding activities.
- Guide, mentor, and support junior engineers and technical team members.
- Review technical designs, deployment configurations, and implementation best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues related to system integration, log ingestion, endpoint deployment, network communication, and platform performance.
- Design and optimize SIEM architecture, log collection strategies, retention planning, and scalability requirements.
- Perform advanced onboarding and integration for security devices, servers, applications, cloud services, and custom log sources.
- Support infrastructure hardening, platform tuning, upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and implementation guides.
- Participate in customer meetings, technical workshops, and solution discussions.
- Assist pre-sales and solution teams in technical sizing, architecture planning, and proof-of-concept (POC) activities.
- Ensure cybersecurity projects are delivered according to technical requirements, quality standards, and timelines.
Pre-Sales & Solutioning
- Act as the technical product consultant for SIEM and EDR solutions, providing product and solution expertise throughout the sales cycle.
- Advise potential customers on suitable SIEM and EDR solutions, architecture, and deployment approaches based on their environment and requirements.
- Lead or support Proof-of-Concept (POC) and Proof-of-Value (POV) engagements for SIEM and EDR with potential customers, including scoping, setup, execution, and results presentation.
- Join sales meetings and customer discussions as the technical subject-matter expert whenever the sales team requires technical support or clarification.
Sales Enablement
- Prepare and conduct training for the sales team on SIEM and EDR products, positioning, and competitive differentiation.
- Develop reusable sales enablement materials, such as battlecards, demo scripts, and FAQ references, for SIEM and EDR conversations.
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
