Contract Manager (Malaysia) | AIA IT(M) Sdn. Bhd.

About the Role

AIA is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support the Group IT Management Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, reviewing, negotiating, and administering IT vendor contracts across AIA Group entities in the Asia Pacific region, with a strong focus on software licensing, SaaS subscriptions, and technology services agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate, implement, and renew IT vendor contracts, orders, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Manage software licensing, SaaS, and technology service agreements.
• Drive favorable commercial and contractual outcomes, including cost savings and risk mitigation.
• Ensure contracts comply with organizational standards, policies, and governance requirements.
• Analyze and negotiate contract terms, pricing, liabilities, and risk allocation.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Risk, Tax, and Technology stakeholders.
• Advise stakeholders on contract status, obligations, and clause interpretation.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and agreement repositories.
• Support vendor relationship management and contract lifecycle activities.

Mandatory Requirements

• Immediate joiner or short notice period.

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
• 8-10+ years of experience in Contract Management, Vendor Management, Procurement, or Commercial Management.
• Strong experience handling IT contracts, software licensing, SaaS agreements, and technology vendors.
• Proven experience negotiating commercial and contractual terms.
• Experience reviewing and drafting SOWs, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and vendor contracts.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Preferred Experience

• Banking, Insurance, Financial Services, or Shared Services environment.
• Regional/APAC stakeholder management.
• Exposure to IT Governance and Vendor Performance Management.
