ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Project Manager reports to and is responsible for assisting the Project Manager and/or Senior Project Manager with daily management, supervision, coordination and successful completion of the projects to meet time and cost objectives.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist project manager to achieve project goals
Manage project budget and project resource allocation
Planning and scheduling of project timelines
Provide direction and support to project team
Control and monitor on quality assurance
Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project
Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
Communicating with all stakeholders and authority department
Managing risks and issues on project execution
Managing sub-contractors and vendors on project execution
Assist project manager in generating weekly report for presenting project status to stakeholder
Updating the Project Management plan regularly
Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution
Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals
Conduct a regular construction meeting to all sub-contractors and vendors to meet project timeline and goals
Liaison with project stakeholders in related to project execution where neccesary

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Min 8 years experience in Engineering / Construction Industry
Familiarity with construction management tools and methodologies.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Ability to prepare and present project reports and updates.
Understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards relevant to data centre construction.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
