Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Migration Engineer to support the planning, design, and execution of IT infrastructure migration to Huawei Cloud. The role involves assessing current systems, designing migration strategies, and executing host, storage, and database migrations in a structured, phased approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveys of existing IT systems and evaluate service continuity and performance requirements.
• Design cloud migration solutions, including resource planning, cost analysis, and architecture deployment.
• Perform feasibility analysis and define detailed migration plans for hosts, storage, and databases.
• Execute cloud resource provisioning and implement end-to-end migration (host, storage, database), including testing and service cutover support.
• Collaborate closely with cloud provider and customers to validate solutions and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Deliver documentation for all stages of migration including planning, implementation, testing, and acceptance.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with cloud migration (preferably AWS, Azure, Ali Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Tencent Cloud) including network, compute, storage, and databases
• Solid understanding of cloud architectures and infrastructure design
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
• Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and migration tools
