About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Business Development Manager to lead the development of opportunities within the energy transition and sustainability sector in Singapore. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong business development capabilities with a solid understanding of energy and decarbonisation solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities across industrial, commercial, property and public-sector customers.

The position offers the opportunity to work on integrated energy solutions including solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), microgrids, energy and carbon management platforms, and emerging AI-enabled energy technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify, develop and close new business opportunities within Singapore's energy transition and sustainability market.

Build and manage relationships with industrial customers, property developers, government-linked organisations, energy stakeholders and strategic partners.

Engage customers to understand their energy, sustainability and decarbonisation objectives.

Develop solutions and business cases that address customer needs, working closely with technical and engineering teams.

Drive the development of integrated energy projects involving solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), microgrids, energy management systems, carbon management platforms and AI-enabled energy solutions.

Manage the full business development lifecycle from prospecting and opportunity qualification to negotiation and contract closure.

Build and strengthen a local ecosystem of customers, partners and industry stakeholders.

Support market expansion initiatives and contribute to long-term growth strategy across the region.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in business development, commercial sales, customer development or related functions.

Proven track record of independently originating, developing and closing business opportunities.

Experience in one or more of the following sectors: renewable energy, solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), microgrids, energy management, ESCO services, sustainability, smart buildings or industrial energy solutions.

Experience developing net-zero or low-carbon industrial parks, green factories, campuses or integrated energy projects.
