Scrum Master (Digital Banking) – KL Sentral

• Location: KL Sentral
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:45 PM
• Employment Type: Contract (Payroll via MindPec Solutions Sdn Bhd)
• Contract Duration: 6 + 6 + 4 + 2 Months (Renewable based on project budget)
• Salary Range: RM10,000 – RM17,000 per month
• Openings: 3 positions
• Joining Date: Immediate or within 30 days notice period

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Scrum Facilitation

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Coach Scrum teams and Product Owners on Agile principles, Scrum framework, and best practices.
• Support teams in achieving Sprint Goals and improving delivery performance.
• Promote a collaborative, self-organizing, and high-performing Agile culture.

Sprint Planning & Delivery Management

• Work closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlogs.
• Facilitate user story discussions, estimation sessions, and acceptance criteria alignment.
• Monitor Sprint progress, velocity, delivery risks, and team performance.
• Support teams in managing changing priorities and dependencies.

Digital Banking & Technology Projects

• Support Agile delivery for digital banking applications, CRM platforms, customer engagement solutions, and enterprise systems.
• Coordinate collaboration between Business Analysts, Developers, QA Teams, Architects, Vendors, and Business Stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-team dependency management and release coordination.
• Support deployment planning, production readiness, and post-go-live activities.

Agile Improvement & Stakeholder Management

• Identify and remove delivery impediments affecting Agile teams.
• Facilitate continuous improvement through retrospectives and Agile coaching.
• Support communication between business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors.
• Track Agile metrics and prepare delivery updates where required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or enterprise technology environments.
• Proven experience supporting Agile software delivery teams.
• Experience managing multiple Scrum teams and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery, testing processes, release management, and production support.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Experience with digital banking platforms, CRM systems, customer engagement platforms, enterprise applications, APIs, middleware, or integrated systems.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Hybrid delivery approaches.
• Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of Agile metrics including Velocity, Burndown Charts, Cycle Time, and Lead Time.
• Exposure to cloud solutions, AI initiatives, automation projects, or technology modernization is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Technology, or related disciplines.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or project management certifications are an added advantage.
