About the role

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Account Executive to handle daily accounting activities and assist with purchasing and stock management. The role will liaise with internal teams, customers and suppliers to ensure records are accurate, properly maintained and in accordance with applicable Malaysian statutory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance

• Manage daily accounting operations, including data entry and maintaining proper accounting filing systems.
• Maintain the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) systems to ensure complete and accurate records of all transactions.
• Review incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers to resolve account-related matters.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned by the Management.
• Collect, calculate and enter payroll data to maintain accurate payroll records.
• Ensure timely preparation and distribution of payslips.
• Respond to staff payroll queries.
• Assist with extracting payroll information and compiling reports as required.

Delivery & Inventory Control

• Prepare and issue Delivery Orders (D/O) for customer deliveries.
• Ensure D/O and related delivery documents are accurate and properly maintained.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for materials and parts.
• Record and update stock movements, including receiving, issuing and transferring of materials.
• Coordinate with customers & suppliers to resolve discrepancies relating to quantity, pricing, materials or documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a recognized professional accounting qualification.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Relevant working experience is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. AutoCount, SQL Accounting or similar) is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, with good analytical skills, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Required languages : Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin proficiency is required to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers and suppliers.
