About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer at Aura Labs, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that power digital experiences for commercial real estate clients. You will architect and implement backend services, integrate APIs and third-party systems, and ensure high performance and reliability across applications.

Key responsibilities

• Review code and mentor other engineers
• Collaborate with product managers and designers
• Participate in technical decision-making
• Improve development processes
• Contribute to system design documentation
• Support deployments and troubleshooting in production environments

About you

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software architecture
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience delivering production-ready applications
• Hands-on expertise in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and performance optimization
• Solid understanding and practical use of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or Node.js) and relevant frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization is beneficial
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and provide technical mentorship
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
