Senior Test Engineer – Selenium

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer with 8+ years of experience in software testing, with strong expertise in Selenium, Manual Testing, and Automation Testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing (ST/SIT), End-to-End, UAT, Automation, and API testing.
• Design, review, execute, and maintain test cases and automation scripts based on business and technical requirements.
• Develop and execute automation testing using Selenium.
• Conduct and support Performance/Stress Testing (PST).
• Manage the complete testing and defect lifecycle, including defect reporting, tracking, and closure.
• Coordinate UAT activities with business users and stakeholders.
• Coordinate testing activities across multiple application/domain teams.
• Review functional requirements and technical design documents and translate them into appropriate test scenarios.
• Create and execute SQL queries for data validation and testing.
• Work effectively within both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Use test and defect management tools such as JIRA, Quality Center (QC), RTC, and RQM.
• Act as the single point of contact for testing activities at program level.
• Ensure complex testing programs are delivered within agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Software Testing experience.
• Strong expertise in Selenium Automation Testing.
• Strong Manual Testing experience.
• Functional Testing: ST, SIT, UAT, E2E.
• API Testing experience.
• Performance/Stress Testing (PST) experience.
• Strong understanding of Testing & Defect Life Cycle.
• Experience with JIRA / QC / RTC / RQM or equivalent tools.
• Strong SQL skills for data validation.
• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Strong test case design, execution, defect management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Good to have: Security Testing experience.
