Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications, ensuring thorough coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.

• Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects, verify fixes, and validate new features.

• Collaborate closely with the software development team to understand project requirements and ensure proper test coverage.

• Conduct regression testing to maintain product stability and prevent regression issues.

• Document and report defects, including detailed reproduction steps and root cause analysis.

• Proactively identify potential areas for improvement in the software development process and contribute to process enhancements.

• Participate in cross-functional team meetings to provide quality assurance insights and recommendations. 

• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is mandatory.

• Proven experience in a Quality Assurance or similar role, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. 

• Proficiency in creating and executing test cases, defect tracking and reporting.

• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks.

• Familiarity with performance testing and load testing tools is a plus.

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles and Agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
