Responsibilities

  • Assist during the tendering and pre-construction stages of projects, including technical reviews and cost evaluations.
  • Support project planning activities, including construction sequencing, work scheduling, and coordination of M&E installation works.
  • Attend meetings and coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Participate in site inspection, testing and commissioning activities, and internal quality audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, statutory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Review and verify engineering drawings, technical submissions, material catalogues, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable codes and standards.
  • Monitor project progress and highlight technical issues, risks, and potential delays, while proposing practical solutions.
  • Ensure proper documentation control and maintain accurate records of project correspondence, drawings, reports, inspection records, and technical documents for future reference.
  • Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues to ensure project objectives, quality standards, and deadlines are achieved.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in M&E engineering, building services, construction, or related industries.



Required Skills

  • Experience in M&E building services design, project coordination, site supervision, documentation control, and technical submissions.
  • Good understanding of Malaysian building regulations, industry codes, standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications, including Words, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented with a positive attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Demonstrate high standards of professionalism, honesty, integrity and ethical conduct at all times.
