Position Title: Shipping Executive
Department: Shipping Department
Reports To: Shipping Manager

Position Summary

The Shipping Executive is responsible for coordinatingvessel operations, supporting chartering activities, monitoring shipmentperformance and ensuring the timely execution of shipping activities. The rolealso supports demurrage review, claims administration and shipping reporting tofacilitate efficient trading operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day vessel operations for assigned shipments, including spot and time-charter (TC) vessels.
• Monitor voyage progress and coordinate with shipowners, agents, terminals, surveyors and other stakeholders.
• Review shipping documents and support cargo loading and discharge operations.
• Review demurrage calculations, monitor claims and support claim resolution.
• Prepare shipping reports, vessel movement reports and shipment summaries.
• Consolidate operational data for management reporting.
• Coordinate with Trading, Trading Operations, Finance & Accounting and external parties to ensure smooth execution of trading shipments.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Shipping Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Minimum two (02) years of relevant experience in shipping operations, tanker operations or commodity trading.
• Experience in petroleum shipping or tanker operations is an advantage.

Skills & Knowledge

• Knowledge of tanker operations, charter parties and shipping documentation.
• Understanding of demurrage and shipping claims.
• Good coordination, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
