Location of Project : Bangunan Sultan Iskandar (BSI) / CIQ Johor Bahru

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical distribution systems, lighting, power equipment, and control systems.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot electrical installations to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with JKR and Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements.
• Perform repair and replacement of electrical wiring, switchboards, panels, and accessories.
• Monitor and record daily electrical parameters, including power consumption and system performance.
• Maintain detailed maintenance logs, service reports, and inspection records for all electrical assets.
• Assist engineers or supervisors in planning, upgrading, or modification of electrical systems and equipment.
• Supervise electrical contractors and ensure work complies with safety standards and technical specifications.
• Support the implementation of energy conservation and safety programs within the facility.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field (Polytechnic/TVET).
• SKM/DKM/DLKM in Electrical Installation & Maintenance, Industrial Electrical Maintenance, or Building Electrical System Maintenance (Level 2/3).
• Minimum 1 year experience in facility electrical maintenance or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical drawings.
• Skilled in troubleshooting Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems and basic control circuits.
• Knowledge of JKR electrical maintenance standards, safety procedures, and statutory requirements.
• CIDB Green Card and JKR Technical Competency Certificate (CREaTE) are advantages.
• Suruhanjaya Tenaga Wireman/Chargeman certification is an added advantage.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
