Restaurant Supervisor

Department: Operations
Reports To: Branch Manager

Job Summary

The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Branch Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service, maintaining product and service quality, and delivering excellent customer satisfaction. The role also supervises and develops restaurant crew while ensuring compliance with company SOPs, hygiene, safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, including opening, closing and shift activities.
• Ensure food and beverage preparation and service comply with company SOPs and quality standards.
• Monitor service efficiency and ensure customers receive prompt, courteous and professional service.
• Supervise, guide and train restaurant crew to improve service standards and product knowledge.
• Handle customer feedback, complaints and operational issues, and escalate matters when necessary.
• Ensure sufficient stock availability, proper storage, FIFO practices and waste control.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and a pleasant restaurant environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health, safety and security requirements.
• Support cash handling, payment settlement and daily closing procedures.
• Support sales promotions and activities to maximize outlet sales.
• Coordinate effectively between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
• Assist in controlling operating costs without compromising product or service quality.

Requirements

• Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience, preferably in the restaurant or F&B industry.
• Experience managing a restaurant team of up to approximately 10 employees is preferred.
• Good leadership, communication and team management skills.
• Able to train, coach and motivate team members.
• Responsible, disciplined, cooperative and willing to learn.
• Able to communicate in English, Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin.
• Must have own transportation.
• Willing to travel outstation when required.

Preferred Candidate

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, customer-focused, responsible and able to lead a team in a fast-paced F&B environment. The successful candidate should be comfortable working shifts, weekends and public holidays based on outlet operational requirements.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,100.00 per month
