Handle daily full-set accounting transactions, including AP, AR, journal entries, and general ledger postings.
Perform bank, intercompany, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of journals, accruals, prepayments, and supporting schedules.
Prepare financial reports, management reports, account schedules, and supporting documents in accordance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
Monitor supplier invoices, customer receipts, payment schedules, outstanding balances, and follow up on overdue accounts where required.
Assist with GST, corporate tax, audit requirements, and other statutory filings, ensuring relevant accounting records and supporting documents are properly maintained.
Maintain accurate and organized accounting records, invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents while following internal control procedures.
Support budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, audit requests, process improvements, and other finance-related projects or duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are an advantage.
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a wholesales trading, commercial, or corporate environment.
Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, GST, and general accounting practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software or ERP systems. Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, analytical ability, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Good written and verbal communication skills, a responsible and proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with different departments.
