Microtronics Technology Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SMT Quality Engineer to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain SMT Quality Control Plans (QCP).
• Monitor SMT process performance using SPC and analyze quality trends (Yield, Cpk, etc.).
• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAR/CAPA).
• Optimize AOI/SPI inspection programs and inspection criteria.
• Lead and facilitate PFMEA activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IPC standards, and customer quality requirements.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support quality improvement projects.
• Train production operators on SMT quality standards and inspection methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in SMT or electronics manufacturing are welcome.
• Good understanding of SMT manufacturing processes and electronic components.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), QC tools (8D, FMEA, Fishbone, Pareto, etc.).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610) is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Minitab or other statistical software is preferred.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
