Role Description This is a full-time Financial Advisor role based in Singapore with a hybrid work arrangement, combining office-based client meetings and some work-from-home flexibility. The Financial Advisor will engage with clients to understand their financial goals, analyze their current financial situation, and develop tailored financial and retirement plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include explaining investment options, recommending suitable financial products, monitoring clients’ portfolios, and conducting regular reviews to ensure strategies remain aligned with their objectives. The role also involves prospecting new clients, maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with team members and agency leadership to stay current on market developments and product offerings. Ongoing professional development and adherence to Manulife Financial Advisers’ compliance and ethical standards are integral to this position.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Financial Planning and Finance, with the ability to analyze client needs and develop comprehensive strategies.
- Expertise in Retirement Planning, including designing long-term income and protection solutions for diverse client profiles.
- Knowledge of Investments and related products, with the capability to explain risk, return, and portfolio diversification clearly.
- Experience or demonstrated aptitude in Financial Advisory, including client relationship management and needs-based recommendation.
- Relevant academic background (e.g., finance, business, economics) and MAS-recognized certifications or willingness to obtain required licenses.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust, present complex information simply, and work with clients from varied backgrounds.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment with both individual and team targets.
- High standards of integrity, professionalism, and compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
