Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Selenium Tester to design, write, and maintain test cases for web-based applications, and to build and maintain automation test scripts using the Genie Framework and JavaScript. The role covers both manual and automation testing to validate that applications meet requirements and specifications, along with peer test case reviews and organized capture of test results and evidence.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:

• Design, write and maintain high quality test cases for testable working products in Excel/JIRA.
• Perform peer-to-peer test cases review.
• Create, develop and maintain automation test scripts for web-based applications and test data creation using Genie Framework and Java Scripts.
• Perform both manual execution and automation testing to ensure application implemented are working as expected based on requirements and specifications.
• Capture and maintain test result and test evidence in an organized manner.

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency):

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in a Quality Software Testing role.
• Experienced in automation tools (Selenium & QTP).
• Experienced in programming languages (Ruby, Java, JavaScript, etc.).
• Strong understanding in software testing approach and testing methods.
• Multi-tasking, or capable to support at least 2 project testing at one time.
• Good level in using SQL queries for database checking.
• Critical thinking, analysing skill, problem-solving skills, result-focused
• Good communication skills.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
