Company Background

Guangdong was established in 1987 and mainly deals with dried fruits, agricultural products, grain products, sauces, moon cake fillings and a wide variety of food products. We are a professional and experienced wholesaler and food supplier, supplying quality food to local retail shops and to the F&B industry.

Core Responsibilities:
Source and procure goods from local vendors and manufacturers in accordance with company requirements.

Liaise and negotiate with vendors to obtain product information, including pricing, availability, specifications, and delivery schedules.

Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock availability to meet operational demands.

Conduct market price analysis to ensure competitive procurement pricing.

Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner.

Coordinate and verify incoming deliveries to ensure the correct items, quantities, and quality standards are met.

Maintain and update procurement records, including supplier information, purchase history, pricing, delivery performance, product quality, and inventory data.

Arrange the return of defective or unacceptable goods to vendors and prepare Goods Return Notes (GRNs) to process the return.

Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Department.

Conduct supplier evaluation and performance monitoring to ensure continuous improvement in service and quality.

Perform any other ad hoc tasks, projects, or duties assigned by management from time to time.

Job Specifications:
Professional Certificate/Nitec or Diploma, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Admin, Procurement, or related fields

2 - 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience in similar industry (Food Services/ Food Manufacturing/ F&B)

Strong product knowledge and sensitive to market trends

Able to plan, organise, problem-solve and follow through on tasks promptly and professionally

Strong attention to detail

Good communication, negotiation and vendor management skills

Familiar with Microsoft Office and ERP system applications

Proficiency in mandarin to liaise with mandarin speaking associates

Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm, Alternate Saturdays 8am – 2pm
