Job Title: Welder

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication work on various metal structures, machinery, and equipment. This includes reading blueprints, setting up welding machines, and ensuring all welding work meets quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks according to drawings and specifications.
• Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, ARC, or gas welding machines.
• Inspect and test welded joints for strength, quality, and compliance.
• Repair and maintain metal structures, machinery frames, and equipment components.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE during operations.
• Prepare and clean materials before and after welding.
• Collaborate with mechanics and engineers for project requirements.
• Maintain tools, welding machines, and work areas in good condition.

Requirements:

• Certificate or diploma in Welding / Metal Fabrication or related field.
• Proven experience as a Welder (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of various welding processes (MIG, TIG, SMAW, etc.).
• Familiarity with welding materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in welding operations.

Preferred (Optional):

• Possession of valid welding certifications (CIDB,DOSH).
• Experience in port operations, heavy machinery, or structural fabrication.
• Ability to operate cutting torches, grinders, and other metalworking tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
