As we expand, we are seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our Human Resources team in Kuala Lumpur, Sungai Besi Lakefields.
The Role
As a Human Resources Manager, you will provide strategic leadership for recruitment operations, systems, and programs that support hiring across the organization. This includes talent networking, partnership program, searches, screening, interview, offer negotiation, onboarding, and employer branding. Your expertise will drive improved hiring outcomes through strong people leadership, effective governance, data-informed decisions, and close partnership with HR teams, business leaders, and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strategic approach to recruitment of key personnel, covering new vacancies, replacements, and succession planning.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise-wide recruitment systems, tools, and standardized processes.
- Use data and analytics oversight to optimize hiring efficiency, effectiveness, and regulatory adherence.
- Lead onboarding processes and programs, leveraging new-hire feedback to drive continuous improvement and effective integration.
- Develop and execute a strategic employer branding approach aligned to business objectives, including digital and social recruitment strategies.
- Establish strong governance, documentation, and knowledge-sharing practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and operational excellence.
- Stay current on market trends, recruitment technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance talent acquisition outcomes.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned in support of organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of recruitment experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven track record in mining, construction, or heavy industries preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment law and compliance requirements.
- Ability to communicate clearly and assess candidates effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin & Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
