Scope of Work

·       Monitor and verify jointing material’s quality and quantities to ensure adequacy and accuracy for project requirements. 

·       Ensure all jointing tools, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and in good working condition. 

·       Conduct and supervise toolbox meetings to effectively promote safe work practices. 

·       Supervise jointing activities to ensure compliance to approved work instructions, procedures, and quality standards. 

·       Ensure that all jointing records, reports, and data are accurately documented and maintained. 

·       Maintain a clean, safe, and organized joint bay and working environment. 

·       Identify, investigate, and resolve jointing work non-conformities and quality issues. 

·       Support and implement safety measures and safe work practices for jointing activities. 

·       Lead the development and delivery of technical training, competency assessments, and knowledge-sharing programs for cable jointing personnel.

·       Coach and assess employees while ensuring high standards of safety, quality, compliance, and technical excellence in cable jointing and termination activities.

Responsibilities

·       Ensure that jointing work is carried out satisfies the required quality standards and project specifications. 

·       Ensure that jointing activities are completed in accordance to project schedule under normal operating conditions. 

·       Coordinate with project stakeholders to achieve safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of jointing works.
