About the role

Manage BOM material sourcing and development for the Malaysia plant. Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers and conduct material cost analysis to drive cost-down initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage BOM material sourcing and development for the Malaysia plant

• Identify and develop new suppliers and organize cross-functional teams for on-site supplier audits and evaluations

• Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers (price, lead time, payment terms, after-sales service, etc.)

• Conduct material cost analysis and drive cost-down initiatives

• Manage projects including sample follow-up, qualification progress, and engineering change requests

• Coordinate internal and external communication for issue resolution

• Perform other tasks assigned by department leadership

About you

• Familiar with RFQ (Request for Quotation), price comparison, and negotiation processes

• Solid knowledge of machining processes such as turning, CNC, raw materials, and surface treatment cost structures

• Capable of independent cost analysis

• Existing supplier network in Malaysia is a strong plus

• Strong cost awareness and time management skills

• Well-organized with good working habits

• Able to work under pressure, result-oriented

• Can accept OT when necessary

• Both English and Mandarin speaking will be preferred
