Job Summary
We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our finance team and support the financial reporting, accounting, and finance functions of the Group. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Financial Controller and management and support subsidiaries, affiliates, and related companies as needed.
Responsibilities
Manage and review month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely preparation of accurate financial statements and management accounts
Prepare and review accounting schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to maintain data integrity
Assist in consolidating Group financials and preparing quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial results and reports
Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and variance analysis to inform financial decision-making
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, and professional advisers to coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance
Ensure accounting records comply with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (International), internal policies, and regulatory requirements
Review financial information submitted by subsidiaries and related entities for accuracy and compliance
Assist management with financial analysis, business planning, and evaluation of new projects or investments to support strategic growth
Strengthen and implement internal controls, finance policies, and procedures to enhance governance and operational efficiency
Undertake additional finance, accounting, administrative, and corporate duties as assigned by the Financial Controller and management
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification
Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CA Singapore, or equivalent is advantageous
At least 5 years of relevant accounting, audit, and/or finance experience
Prior experience in external audit, group consolidation, and financial reporting is advantageous
Experience with a Singapore-listed company or knowledge of SGX reporting requirements is an added advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
