Role Description This is a full-time Sales Associate role based in Bayan Lepas, offered on a hybrid work arrangement that combines on-site and work-from-home flexibility. The Sales Associate will engage prospective and existing customers to understand their protection and savings needs, present suitable Family Takaful solutions, and support customers through the end-to-end sales process. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations and presentations, following up on leads, preparing and submitting applications, and ensuring accurate documentation in line with regulatory and shariah requirements. The role also involves maintaining long-term relationships with customers, achieving individual and team sales targets, and participating in training and development sessions to improve product knowledge and sales skills. The Sales Associate will collaborate closely with consultants, supervisors, and support teams to deliver a high level of service and contribute to PruBSN’s mission of securing the future of Malaysian families.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust, listen actively, and explain financial protection concepts clearly to diverse customers.
• Customer service and relationship management skills, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and maintaining long-term client engagement.
• Sales and negotiation skills, including lead follow-up, objection handling, and target-driven performance in a financial services or related environment.
• Basic financial literacy and understanding of insurance or takaful concepts; familiarity with shariah-compliant financial products is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, manage time independently, and collaborate with team members both in-person and remotely.
• Comfort with digital tools and systems for customer onboarding, documentation, and reporting; willingness to learn new technologies and platforms.
• Minimum qualification of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; relevant experience in
