Key Responsibilities
- RTD rule development: Define, develop, implement, and maintain dispatching rules for 300mm wafer fabs to balance throughput, cycle time, and equipment utilization.
- Scheduling optimization: Design and refine scheduling algorithms to balance fab priorities, reduce bottlenecks, and achieve predictable cycle times.
- Full automation enablement: Integrate RTD and scheduling strategies into MES and automation systems to support a fully automated fab environment.
- System integration: Collaborate with Automation, IT and Manufacturing teams to ensure RTD and scheduling rules are seamlessly embedded into fab workflows.
- Production flow optimization: Analyze fab performance data and adjust RTD/scheduling strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize bottlenecks.
- Continuous improvement: Monitor automation performance, identify inefficiencies and drive corrective actions to enhance fab productivity. Perform root cause analysis and resolve daily RTD and /automation related issues
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with manufacturing, planning, and engineering teams to align automation strategies to meet fab priorities and business goals.
- Documentation : Define, document and prioritize business requirements related to RTD, advanced scheduling, and MES capabilities.
- Training : Train new team members when necessary
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Good SQL skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, able to interface effectively with operations, engineering, and IT.
- Willingness to participate in rotating night on-call / on-duty rotations.
- Good Team Player
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to automation, digital manufacturing, or smart fab initiatives.
- Experience in RTD (APF, Activity Manager, etc) and Advanced Scheduling (AutoSched, Opcenter APS, etc)
- Experience with at least one of the following programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience with version control systems like Git, automated build, and testing.
- Experience supporting system requirement definition, UAT, or production rollout activities.
