The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing and handling steel materials, tools and equipment. The role ensures accurate inventory transactions, proper material control and safe, efficient warehouse operations for both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming materials, tools and equipment.
• Perform loading and unloading of materials and deliveries.
• Issue materials to Production according to approved requests and requirements.
• Arrange and store materials properly in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, prepare and transfer materials according to production requirements.
• Record all incoming, outgoing and internal stock movements accurately.
• Conduct regular stock counts and report any stock discrepancies.
• Ensure materials, tools and equipment are properly tracked and accounted for.
• Assist with forklift and overhead crane operations where trained and authorised.
• Coordinate with Production, drivers and other departments for material movement and delivery.
• Maintain good warehouse housekeeping and proper material identification.
• Follow company warehouse procedures, 5S and workplace safety requirements.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum secondary education / SPM or equivalent.
• Malaysian preferred.
• Previous warehouse, manufacturing or steel industry experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of inventory control, stock handling and record keeping.
• Forklift or overhead crane operating experience/licence is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to handle materials in a factory/warehouse environment.
• Willing to work
• rotating day and night shifts

• Responsible, safety-conscious and able to follow instructions and procedures.
• Basic computer or inventory system knowledge is an advantage.
• Training will be provided where required.
• Able to start work as soon as possible.

Working Conditions
