Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Specialist – Insurance role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The specialist identifies and develops new business opportunities by generating leads, building pipelines, and nurturing prospects across insurance and takaful products. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing client needs, preparing proposals, and presenting solutions that align with risk management and coverage requirements. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, providing responsive customer service, and coordinating with internal teams and insurers to ensure smooth policy placement and renewals. The specialist is expected to meet growth targets, track performance metrics, and contribute insights for strategic business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to assess client risk profiles, interpret data, and evaluate market opportunities.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present solutions clearly, negotiate terms, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Relevant experience in insurance broker ,underwriting, or financial services is advantageous.
• Knowledge in General insurance and Employee Benefit is essential
• Bachelor’s degree in Insurance , Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations)and comfort working with sales and reporting systems.
