AS/400 Developer (Payments & Loans)

Experience: 5-10 Years

Location: Malaysia -Kuala Lumpur

Domain: Banking - Payments & Loans is mandatory

Salary: RM 10,500

Duration: 12 Months contract, Renewable

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using RPG/RPGLE, CL, SQLRPGLE, and DB2/400.
• Support Payments, Remittance, Fund Transfer, and Loan Management systems.
• Perform application enhancements, production support, bug fixing, and performance tuning.
• Participate in requirement analysis, development, testing, UAT, and production deployment.
• Support incident resolution and end-of-day banking processes.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of AS/400 (IBM i) development experience.
• Strong skills in RPG, RPGLE, CLP, SQLRPGLE, and DB2.
• Banking experience in Payments and Loans is mandatory.
• Experience with system integration, APIs, MQ, and batch processing.
• Good understanding of SDLC and production support.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Silverlake Core Banking.
• Knowledge of SWIFT, ISO20022, Remittance, and Core Banking operations.
• Exposure to regulatory and compliance-related banking projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
