Job Description
- Experienced in preparing, drafting and reviewing business banking and security documentation.
- Handle property conveyancing matters.
- Liaise with banks, clients, and relevant authorities.
- Provide legal advice on transaction structures and compliance matters.
- Support selected corporate exercises where applicable.
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university.
- A Master of Laws (LL.M) is an added advantage.
- Admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitor.
- 25 years of experience in business banking documentation and property matters.
- 2 years of experience to 2 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE)
- Corporate exposure is an added advantage.
- Strong drafting skills and ability to manage files independently.
- Detail-oriented with good stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Legal Specialisation Provides hands-on exposure to business banking documentation, security documentation, and property conveyancing matters.
- Valuable In-House Legal Exposure Involves advising on transaction structures, compliance matters, and selected corporate exercises, broadening commercial legal knowledge.
- Direct Stakeholder Management Offers regular interaction with banks, clients, and relevant authorities, strengthening communication and professional relationship-management skills.
- Independent File Management Provides an opportunity to handle legal files independently while developing strong drafting, documentation, and case-management capabilities.
